My Switch to All Natural Living

Hey all,

If you have been around these parts for any length of time you will know that I am working towards a more all natural living. I am trying to get my home toxin free. That means, everything from the things that I put in my air (ie, air fresheners..PS recipe coming soon!) to what I put under my arms.

I have never been one to care about deodorants versus antiperspirants…until now. Something just hit me one day that I am putting a chemical under my arms to stop my body from sweating…something that it is designed to do!

Now I know that there is a time and place for sweat - working out yes, wedding dress no, but when I actually sat and thought about aluminum going under my armpits, I immediately knew that I had to stop using it.

I switched to lip balms that I knew were toxin free, and started making salves…so why would I stop there?

I didn’t have the time and frankly didn’t want to learn how to make deodorants, so my hunt began. I started with Amazon, simply because we have Amazon Prime and have 2-Day shipping, and landed on an all natural deodorant where I could actually pronounce all of the ingredients!

I was skeptical at first.

Was it going to work?

Was I still going to sweat?

Was I going to smell?

Much to my surprise, it worked! Yes, it took a few days for my body to get used to it. And yes, there are still days where my armpits wish they still smelled like Tropical Paradise, but overall I would give this all natural deodorant an A+!

It is for women and men. It is all natural, paraben free, phalate free, non-toxic and completely good for you!

You can check out Underarmed here.

If you have been thinking about switching to an all natural deodorant, where you can pronounce every ingredient and know exactly what you are putting on your skin, I highly recommend Underarmed.

Yes, it is $15.99 but to know I am not putting chemicals under my armpits, I will gladly pay it.

Have you tried an all natural deodorant? I would love to know what you’ve tried!

xo, Sarah
