Birthday Recap

Turning 30 (1).png

I love birthdays. Always have and I think I always will. I love any excuse to celebrate!

On Monday I turned the big 3-0. I am now older and wiser, ready to take on the world with a new vision and purpose, right?

I expected to feel different. I expected to wake up and feel older. I expected to have a new outlook on life. But guess what? It was just like any other day. Surprised? You shouldn't be. Here is the honest truth though, as I get older, I am hating that birthdays just feel like any other day. The magic is disappearing.

This year I wanted to make sure the magic was in me still.

30

It started with a trip to Old Town Sacramento on Saturday, staying in my jams until 4:45pm on Sunday. I worked on my actual birthday and celebrating with friends, received gifts (I sure didn't deserve) from my man, Motorcycle Rider, and then in just 12 hours we will be in flight on the way to a well-deserved vacation!

COSTA RICA HERE WE COME!

I do have some goals for the upcoming year, however:

  • Find ways to give back to my community
  • Start my farm
  • Launch

So here's to 30. Let the adventure begin!
